Description
The random PDBN generator is a partially dynamic Bayesian network (PDBN) generator based off of the BNGenerator by Fabio Cozman et al. Bayesian networks are mathematical models used to express knowledge in expert systems. Partially dynamic Bayesian networks are a specific class of Bayesian networks designed to facilitate the representation of dynamic models. Thus, a PDBN is Bayesian network but a Bayesian network is not necessarily a PDBN. The random PDBN generator is intended to extend the functionality the BNGenerator provides by allowing the user to generate partially dynamic Bayesian networks specifically. The intended audience for this software is researchers working with expert systems modeling complex dynamic systems.
Feature Abstract
- Multiple parameters to describe sample set of PDBNs
- The parameters that describe the sample set of PDBNs can take probability distributions as values.
- Even larger number of taxonomy parameters which describe each resulting PDBN generated
- Demonstration batch file demo.bat included to demonstrate the random PDBN generator
